Essie "Navigate Her" Pepperfied

Today i have for you two things I love. Essie "Navigate Her" more generally pistachio nail color, and frankens; my new creation "Pepperazi."
 For this mani...
Essie "Navigate Her"
Color Club "New Bohemian"
Kattatonic "Pepperazi"
Bonita "Gold"
Essie "Navigate Her" Go Overboard 2012
This has been deemed one of my new favorite shades for the spring season. Essie "Navigate Her" is a light off minty green, more widely known as pistachio. This is two coats of the amazing formula offered in most all Essie polishes.
I first sponged on a bit of "New Bohemian" by Color Club, a bright blue turquoise that i don't think i have ever used before this day. In photos you can not see much of a color difference but in real life it made enough of a difference to me.
I used one coat of my very own "Pepperazi" over my now two tones green nails. Pepperazi is a black and silver glitter. Though it appears black in the bottle it spreads out and looks as it does in the photo to the left.
Finally I sponged on "Gold" by Bonita in chunky concentration on my tips. I found this overall mani to be, odd. I wasn't to crazy about the combo i created but i still love love love Navigate Her.

Essie "Sew Psyched" and China Glaze "Zombie Zest"

This month has help a variety of interesting events for me. To put it simply, this has been one hell of a month. One whirl wind after another. The events of this month are the reason why i feel no shame for my lack of posting as of late.
 Polishes you'll be seeing today
Essie "Sew Psyched"
China Glaze "Zombie Zest"
Essie "As Gold as it Gets"
Essie "Sew Psyched" Go Overboard 2012
I enjoy weird colors, Sew Psyched is an amazing weird color. The photos of this shade are rather deceiving. In person i feel that this polish has more of a green hue to it rather than the intense gray that its showing through right now. The formula is fantastic and the dreamy creme finish is to die for. I'd encourage all of you to get out of your comfort zone a pick up a bottle of this to start your weird color collection.
China Glaze "Zombie Zest" Halloween 2010
I picked up this polish all random like at a swap meet. When i saw Zombie Zest i knew it had to be mine. Pictured here is one coat layered over "Sew Psyched." Zombie Zest is a dark mossy green infested with gold micro glitter. I have not tried this polish on it's own, but due to the sheer formula I'd recommend it be used over a solid base.
Essie "As Gold as it Gets" Luxe Effects 2012
I needed more gold for this mani. As Gold as it Gets was the key to ampping up the gold flecks and taking Zombie Zest to the next level. As Gold as it Gets is a lovely gold fleck polish that i have issues finding a pair for. This is undeniable a layering polish but will add an extra glam with out going over the tops. As usual, Essie produces fantastic formula and this polish is no exception.

"St. Patrick's Day" Feat: Sally Hansen "Black Tie"

Happy late St. Patrick's day! I had every intention in the world i putting this mani up on or before St. Pattie's, but it didn't happen. I got distracted and stopped caring, so now it's late. What else is new.
For this mani...
Sally Hansen "Black Tie"
Finger Paints "Comet's Collar"
Milani "Gold"
Sally Hansen "Sun Kissed"
Pure Ice "Wild Thing"
Orly "Lucky Duck"
China Glaze "Champagne Bubbles" (Not Pictured)
I used two coats of "Black Tie" and layered "Comet's Collar" over it. With a make up sponge i used "Champagne Bubbles" about half way down my nails. Milani "Gold" for the extra sparkle and gold goodness.
On my thumb and ring fingers i made an orange band with "Sun Kissed" for my clovers to sit on. I used "Wild Thing" and "Lucky Duck" layered on top of each other to make my clovers stand out.

"Gold Fruit Punch" Feat: China Glaze "Wicked Style"

I have for you today a mani i don't love on me, but might adore on some one else. I love all these polishes but not in this combo, i'm dumb sometimes.

For this mani...
China Glaze "Wicked Style"
China Glaze "Jamaican Out"
NYX "Gilded Glitter"
Here i have for you straight pictures of "Wicked Style." Wicked Style is from China Glaze's "Electropop" collection that i have entirely fallen in love with. Though this isn't my favorite color on me, i can not deny the perfect formula, dreamy coverage, and smooth glossy creme finish. I've only tried three out of the 12 polishes, but none of them have let me down. Wicked Style is on the border of red and pink, i'd say it's a red with a splash of white in it.
I wanted to add a little extra to this red so i sponged on some of "Jamaican Out" to about half way down the nail. This is another polish i love but never wear, because it's a weird orange. A weird shiny shimmery iridescent orange!
And i topped this all off with NXY "Gilded Glitter" i love this polish! My lovely lovely Secret Valentine got me this with my gift. A polish i've been staring at, and had not been able to find around me. It's a gold flakie! It looks like just flakes of gold, seriously, how jealous are you right now?

"That's Dope" Feat: China Glaze "Gaga for Green"

Its not secret that i live in one of the most drug infested towns for miles around. Riverside had often been called "The Meth Capitol of the US." And my tiny town of Mira Loma has a medical marijuana dispensary on every corner. Some times even two on the same corner. Growing up here, it's been difficult for me to avoid the weed phenomenon, believe me, i was one of the biggest protesters of it for the longest time. Now in my life however, it still remains ever present. But this mani in particular, i wanted to do for my boyfriend, he's way more into all this then i'll ever be. When i was ordering new stamping plates looking for one with diamonds, it just so happened this plate came with the set.

For this mani...
China Glaze "Gaga For Green"
Orly "Le Chateau"
China Glaze "Blond Bombshell"
Essie "Over the Edge"
Dotting tool
Bundle Monster BM07
I began with China Glaze "Gaga For Green" from the Electropop collection. This is two coats and it's seriously one of my new favorite greens ever. It's a perfect creme. Perfect. I honestly didn't believe it at first. Gaga for Green in a bright kelly green that just about borders on neon but is still a mellow green. As you can see in the pictures above depending under what light you have it the greens in it change. the picture to the right is more accurate, but you'll also get to see this in the sun.
This is "Gaga for Green" after i was done decorating, hopefully you have a better idea of the true color by now, this is in natural Southern California sunlight ;)
I sponged on "Blond Bombshell" from the China Glaze "Eye Candy" collection released this past holiday season. I only sponged this along the tips and up one side. I followed that with dots of Essie "Over the Edge" twisting around the leaves.

Glam Your Guns Feat: Essie "Armed and Ready"

I found a new favorite ugly color, and by ugly color i mean not purple. I came across Essie "Armed and Ready" while gawking at glitters next to the Luxe Effects, and mixed in with what was left of the Go Overboard collection. Honestly, i don't know which collection this belongs to, if either. Regardless of the polish family this gem belongs to, it have moved its way into my heart, and onto my favorites.

For this mani...
Essie "Armed and Ready"
China Glaze "Champagne Bubbles"
Essie "As Gold as it Gets"
Milani Jewel FX "Gold"

Makeup sponge
Look look. ---> Armed and Ready.
Gray, brow, and flecked with gold this worn down army/olive green shade has stolen my heart. Though this is a rather drab color, the hidden gold a copper shimmer saves it from the forgotten pile in my polish cabinet. What makes me love this polish is how unique it is. Tell me, do you own another color like this? The formula is also lovely. This is three coats, because i got nicks in the first two.

I chose to use a yellow gold sponged on the sides to not over power the existing copper shimmer, but add to it. China Glaze "Champagne Bubbles" also has very scattered silver glitters in it for more subtle bling. This particular polish was a part of the recent Holiday 2011 collection along with another favorite of mine, "Snow Globe."
Now most of you have seen "Shine of the Times" for the Luxe Effects collection, but have you seen "As Gold as it Gets." To cough enhance cough my amazing sponging i used this glass fleck gold glitter for one coat all over each nail. Do you want to eat my nails yet? Because i do. Much like the makeup caked on the faces of the notorious Toddlers in Tiaras, this top coat covered all the little mistakes and imperfections i had previous.
NOW GLITTER. This is some mofaxukin serious glitter right here! Milani Jewel FX "Gold." If you don't own this, go buy it before its discontinued. I brushed on some pure glitzy gold along the sides that were previously sponged. This finished of my Glam Your Guns mani featuring Essie "Armed and Ready"
