Nail Mail! Funky Fingers and Fresh Paint

The best part about the nail polish community online is interacting and trading with other polish lovers. Girls in groups such as Polishaholics Anonymous will do everything in their power to provide you with polish that you cannot locate in your region of the country or world.

For this trade I had arranged to swap a lot of unused stamping plates for some Funky Finger and Fresh Paint nail polishes that are not sold in my state.

In addition to the polishes I received my swap buddy also included various little goodies to make my package extra special. 

She included a few nail decals, a small vial of sequins, a scented candle, and a bag of nail art rhinestones.

If you ever find your self at a standstill in your polish collection, join a nail polish group and find a swap buddy. It is a fun experience and you get a package in the mail. :)

Nail Polish Haul

So i've been on this nail polish buying spree. Every time i go out i feel like i have to pick up a new bottle. This is just my little haul from Sally's and Ross one day shopping around town. You know, and China Glaze was on sale. I have a few more drug store polishes i've picked up as well, but i don't have pictures of those yet. How often do you treat your self to new polish presents? Do you feel like you have a problem sometimes?

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics (Haul)

Some time last week while browsing the some of my favorite beaut blogs, and venturing onto some others, i saw along my way a gal mention a little company called Dawn Eyes Cosmetics.

Now, being me, of course i was excited when i saw this was another great little indie company chalk full of beautiful shadows. Dawn Eyes is a very small mineral make up company born out of the closing of another mineral makeup company. The owner invested in a bulk of raw ingredients from the closed company and so began her passion for creating mineral eye shadows.

I placed my order on the 22nd, and it was safely in my mail box on the 24th, I was super impressed with the turn around time. The owner, Dawn, was extremely helpful in placing my order. As you may or may not know, i will never place an order unless i can get my shadows in jars. I contacted Dawn in regard to getting some shadows to review. She offers special pricing for bloggers, but those prices are for samples in baggies. Dawn was nice enough to work with me and allow me to get my samples in jars, granted i just pay normal sample price ($1.00) and for shipping ($2.50). Over all, thus far my experience with Dawn Eyes Cosmetics has been amazing. I've yet to try my new shadows, but here is a quick sneak peak at my haul.

Glamour Doll Eyes (Haul)

Just recently before Glamour Doll Eyes went on vacation, they had a quick a quiet sale announced on Facebook. This kind of thing shows how much it can pay off to like your favorite indie companies on Facebook, because this secret sale was 50% off everything in the store (minus Glamour Gloss)!!! So yea, went as crazy as make makeup budget allowed me. I got oodles of sample jars, and since GDE's is super awesome, my shipping was free, because GDE gives free shipping to all sample orders. Can you say ultra-mega-amazing? Now check out what i got. I'm going to be swatching all these in the near future.

Antoinette’s Revolution Cosmetics (Haul)

I can't believe that i'm just now getting around to this. Back when ACR was having their launch sale i did place an order, and you may have noticed because i've been using their products excessively in my recent looks. This post is going to be my open box post and from here i will begin swatching all 17 colors that i got. I've yet to decide how i'm going to post all the swatches, but they will be coming soon.

Ulta NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Haul

So this is just a quick unboxing post. I plan to swatch all these for you but i wanted to show it all off first. I didn't get any other products besides Jumbo Eye Pencils, well, because that's all i wanted and they were buy 2 get one free. So i took advantage of it. This pictures are from when i was opening the box for the first time. When i swatch all these they will be all in one post. I'll have close ups and all that good stuff soon to come. I'm getting in a lot of new products lately, so this is a good place to start.

My Products for Prom (Haul)

So before prom i went a little wild buying some new things. I didn't use all of these products in my Prom Look, but i got them all around the same time, so i decided to put them all in one haul.

As always this is just a quick sneak peak beofre i review all the products included.

LipStick Haul (Cover Girl, Rimmel, and N.Y.C.)

Every time i went to visit i always turned away so koi, avoiding any contact. They made me nervous, they made me feel out of place.  I snuck a peak every now and then, maybe a quick little touch or two but always ran away intimidated before any one could see me. I would never been seen admiring their beauty. But when ever i turned my back i could hear the lipsticks laughing at me. For so long i was so scared of lip color. What looks good on me? What if i look like a beat up hooker? What if i do it wrong, or pick the wrong shade?! The girls online will laugh at me, i'm sure of it(Which you gals haven't, :D) One day, i got over it...

Walmart Mini Haul (N.Y.C, Hard Candy,Pure ICE)

I always like to pick up a few things when i'm at places like Walmart or Target from the beauty section. There are always sooo many things that people just over look or discredit simply because they're from one of these stores. Well news flash, you don't have to spend a fortune to be fierce. And to help you along with that mission of firecness i'm probably going to keep posting mini hauls which will later be turned into individual reviews like the last haul. I just so happened to be at Target today and i pick up a few things while i was there.
