"Orange Cream" Feat: Lime Crime "Macarooned"

I promised you makeup. I am so glad to be getting back into the swing of doing my makeup on a regular basis. Every day i didn't do a look, i stared at the mountain I've dedicated to cosmetics in my room and thought to myself, what a waste. Now going back to my blog basics, I AM NO PRO. You may talk trash as it pleases your sad pathetic little heart, but if you are a decent person you will leave constructive criticism.
I love orange. Today i have for you a rather "toned down" look according to my typical "outrageous" standard. For this look today I used only three shadows.
I began by using Lime Crime "Macarooned" all over my lid. The application of this shadow was weird, but i believe it was only weird because i did not use a white base and my primer was acting a little funky this day.
For the "crease" area, the bright orange, i used Sugarpill "Flamepoint" you know, the best orange in the world. Also from Sugarpill in this look, on my lower lash line i used "Buttercupcake"
I finished off this simple look with a healthy dose of Maybelline "Colossal Lash" mascara.
Products used for this look.
Lime Crime "Pallet 'd Antoinette"
Sugarpill "Burning Heart Pallet"
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil "Straberry Milk"
Maybelline "Colossal Volume" mascara

Lime Crime "Palette d' Antoinette" Sneak Peak

Hello everyone! I'm so excited right now. I just bought my ticket to this year's Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas this June. It's a three day music festival like no other, and will be my first "rave." I'm so excited. I also have for you today a peak at my first Lime Crime order!
I ordered the new "Palette d' Antoinette" and the "Sweet Antoinette" lipstick trio.
I have so far only tried two shades out of this pallet but am thus far pleased with the over all quality. With Lime Crime you are paying for packaging. My experience so far has led me to believe that Lime crime does produce a quality product, but is slightly overpriced compared to competitors dues to their elaborate packaging. However, that is Lime Crime's deal, they sell cute and fantastic. Honestly i'm. still very happy with my order

Absinthe-Minded – light green (matte)
Macarooned – peach (matte)

Ribbonesque – lavender (matte)

Mercurious – metallic silver (sparkle)
You can buy this pallet HERE

On to the lip sticks! As mentioned be fore i purchased the "Sweet Antoinette" lip stick trio. This trio contained "Great Pink Planet," "Coquette," and "Countessa Florescent"
Of course the purple unicorn lipstick tubes from Lime Crime are a big selling point, but i was also very pleased with the quality of the product. Each lip stick applied smoothy with a delicious vanilla creme finish. The scent is not over powering but rather a reduced vanilla that disperses and disappears over time. I have experienced various wear times with each of these, but each has lasted well into over three hours before i had to re-apply. "Coquette" has become my favorite out of the trio, though "Countessa Fluorescent" is an automatic love due to its close similarity to MAC "Candy Yum Yum"
  "Coquette"

All the products i have shown you today are Vegan and Cruelty free. My overall first impression with Lime Crime Cosmetics still stands as a good one. The product portion sizes are a little small for the price, but Lime Crime is known to be kind of a novelty company due to the up-kept unicorn and fantasy theme. I am currently fulling enjoying every product of my purchase and will have swatches soon <3
