Wet n' Wild "24 Carrot Gold" Mega Last Lip Color Swatch

Oh check it out. Cheap lipstick swatch! Say whattt?!? Tee-hee yea, you thought i was kidding about bringing the makeup back to Kattatonic Fierceology. Today i have for you just a quick little lip stick i picked up while wasting money at Rite-Aid the other day. This is just a look at Wet n' Wild "24 Carrot."

I was surprisingly pleases with this lip stick. For $1.99 i was kinda ready for crap. Though Wet n' Wild is know to be a bargain brand, i have rarely been too disappointed with the quality of any of their products. I feel like Wet n' Wild delivers an available, on trend product line at a reasonable cost so that their consumers can test out new trends with out great financial risk.

"24 Carrot" or "24 Carrot Gold" is apart of the recent Mega Last Lip Color collection by Wet n' Wild. The formula of this lipstick was a little odd. It did have a great creamy feel, but it went on as a very thick creme feel. It did tug a little bit during application. On it;s own i feel i am left with dry lips though they feel creamy. I like to pair this lip stick with a gloss to smooth every thing out. Though the formula feels thick it doesn't apply as so.

I still like this lip stick a lot. You get a lot of product for a low price and very vibrant color. I'm all about pigmentation and this bargain buy delivers. You can find this lippie at Rite-Aid for around $1.99.

"Orange Cream" Feat: Lime Crime "Macarooned"

I promised you makeup. I am so glad to be getting back into the swing of doing my makeup on a regular basis. Every day i didn't do a look, i stared at the mountain I've dedicated to cosmetics in my room and thought to myself, what a waste. Now going back to my blog basics, I AM NO PRO. You may talk trash as it pleases your sad pathetic little heart, but if you are a decent person you will leave constructive criticism.

I love orange. Today i have for you a rather "toned down" look according to my typical "outrageous" standard. For this look today I used only three shadows.

I began by using Lime Crime "Macarooned" all over my lid. The application of this shadow was weird, but i believe it was only weird because i did not use a white base and my primer was acting a little funky this day.

 For the "crease" area, the bright orange, i used Sugarpill "Flamepoint" you know, the best orange in the world. Also from Sugarpill in this look, on my lower lash line i used "Buttercupcake"

I finished off this simple look with a healthy dose of Maybelline "Colossal Lash" mascara.

Summer Dreaming (Orange)

It not even a month into actual winter and i'm already ready for summer to come back around. Living in Southern California, by nature, i do not do well in the cold. My winter wardrobe consists of sweater dresses and tights. My water resistant shoe choices are virtually non-existent. Seeing the ground wet in the morning throws me in to a shock similar to an epileptic seizure. Driving in the rain is like a mission to the moon. I am a creature best suited for a warm climate, and i really wish i could just hibernate for the winter. Here's another lazy look, because i'm angry at the sky.

So, i crashed my car a little over a month now. And it's been in the shop for forever and a half. Today they called and said i could come pick it up. now they've been telling me it was going to be ready every day since last Friday, and honestly i'm done being excited. I wasn't excited at all to go get it today, because i had a feeling i wasn't going to get it back any ways. I was right. Drove home in the same shitty car i drove up in. I miss my bug :(

Tangy (Red/Orange)

I think i took better pictures but they are not on my computer yet. Hey ladiesss!!!(And guys) Today, minus the 5 hour drive to Fresno was an excellent day. As i've mentioned before, my dad was run over by a truck, some time near the end of march. Today we're going on about a month in the ICU, but today was an excellent day. Last time i came up here he was knocked out 24/7 and he didn't even open his eyes. He didn't even know we where there. But today i walked into the unit and his eyes and mine lit up when we saw each other. He was talking (whispering) and wide awake when we showed up today. it was wonderful to see he making such exceptional healing progress. Might even be out of the ICU soon. Yay progress!

Stay Excellent (Orange/Gold)

Good summer day all my lovelies! I don't know where all of your are in the world, but here in So Cal is had been bright, beautiful, warm, and sunny for the past few days. It's excellent. Inspired by the beautiful sun pouring in my windows i created this golden look of fabulousness. Hope your all enjoying this summer as much as i am.

Maybe Mars (Orange/Red)

Yay matte! I like today's look. I like it lots. Mostly because i always love using Flamepoint and Love+. And for any of you out there doubting the extreme power of Sugarpill shadows...i will not explain why they are beyond amazing. You may have noticed lately in some of the photos that i have some dark roots showing...or just don't show my hair at all. Well yesterday i went to ge bleach it, and after sticking my head under the faucet in the bath tub to wash it all out...twice, getting water every where and having it run down all over my face, all of my makeup was still perfectly in place. Everything looked just the same. None of my shadows had smudged, and nothing was all ugly like i expected it to be :D

So let me let you all know that i'm angry that Word gives you the option to save things you've purposely done. Upon going to look for my pre-typed up product list for this look, i find, it's not there...because i didn't hit "yes" yesterday when i was posting at like 10 last night. -__- WTF word, wtf? Any who. No that the Walmart Mini Haul is done i can finally relax....Untill i start the E.L.F. Haul...which compared to my mini hauls is going to be massive. It will include 5 new studio brushes, 2 cream liners, 1 matte eye shadow, 1 eye shadow quad, 2 lip glazes, and E.L.F.'s brush shampoo. I'm looking forward to it...but it might take a while.

I realized today that i don't use a lot of orange. Which makes no sense because i really do like orange shadows, not as much as i love yellow, but still. So today orange got it's say. I started with an all orange base and went from there. The dotted liner idea...well, i'm still not sure how that came about.

Thursday, lamest Thursday ever. Lamest look ever. It look really good this morning when i was doing my makeup in the dark but by the end of the day i didn't care so much that i had like wiped most of it off with my hand by the time i got home from rubbing my eyes and junk -__- So yea, not so excited about this. Just posting it, because we all do bad work some times. I'm still human.

The Last Ember (Yellow/Orange)

So like the duh-face i am, Saturday morning i washed all my makeup brushes. Yea, washing brushses, why is that stupid you ask? I hadn't done my makeup yet -__- So i have all these wet brushes....ALL my brushes. I have no secret stash, this was brush cleaning day. So anyways, all of them we're wet. So i had to do a super simple, super un-detailed shadow, that i could apply using my fingers. It's all right. The eye liner really add to the look as a whole.
