POW! (Nails)

I did created this mani out of the gray color i out down as a base. I just got "Mirror Mirror" and i wanted to try it. I had just gray nails for about a day then came up with this idea :D I was so excited about it, and rather pleased with the out come. I eventually posted this look as my "Rockstar" mani for Polishaholics Monday challenge.  You may have noticed i haven't been as prompt with my posting. And i've come to the decision that i need to adjust my blog life, to real life. It's become a little much to get a post up every single day. But trust me, i'm still going to be trying my best.

Giraffe (Gold/Brown)

Good day lovelies! Welcome to another never ending Tuesday! Tuesdays for me always seem to be the longest day of the week. Especially today, because i'm gonna go to the fair tomorrow :3 I better be going to the fair tomorrow. I'm going to make sure of it >:L

Today's look is kinda odd for me, because i really like the brown in it, which reminds me...i need to go wash my brushes, because they all look like poo right now.

Poison Darts (Purple/Pink)

I slept so good last night!!! And then i had to get up and go to work because my weekend was over. But guess what. I'm going to the fair. No matter how many people back out on me, i am going to the fair this week. And unrelated to my unrelated quest to the fair, i also set out for a black eye liner this week...as i have no had one for a good five months or so now....

Barbie Blitz (Nails)

I was walking around my local shopping center on my way to go grab a bite to eat with a friend, all of a sudden i felt the strongest urge to go into this store that i had seen countless times, yet have never been into. Maxium Beauty. Just the word "beauty" told me i might be able to find polish here, and i got excited. I'm glad i acted on this impulse because it really made my day. Inside i found displays covered in the latest OPI collections, a rack of Nabi and NYX polish that i'd never seen in this area before, and even a box with a few discounted OPI's. I was so excited. And this is the mani i did with tow of the polishes i got that day.

Melting Plum (Red/Purple)

Sorry for being a little late on today's post. Laggin!
I told myself i'd be on a no buy soon. A no buy anything. But really, i can't help myself. I just got another three polishes and i'm about to place another shadow order. >.< When you're not paying rent you tend to have some money to throw around. I'm enjoying it for sure, but i still need a new purse. >.> Mall this weekend?! This isn't my favorite look ever, but i promise there are some better ones coming up :)

Perfect Day (Blue/Green)

Good day lovelies! I'm in the process of trying out another one of my new polish from my crazy week of polish spending. Honestly, i feel that twelve bottles is a little much for one week, so i'm on a definite no buy this week...only because i wanted to save money so i can get a new purse some time next week >.> But really, as long as i'm enjoying all of what i'm buying, where's the harm in a little indulgence. I'm still young. I have to enjoy the opportunity of reckless spending while i still can. I know this is all polish talk and a makeup look, but oh well. I know a lot of you just look at pictures any how :p

Orly "Green Apple"

I threw this color on running out the door so it's kinda awfully done and i'm sad i didn't take more time to do something with this before i picked it off. But for today i just have a quick swatch of Orly's "Green Apple" that i picked up the other day. I bought a ton of new polish last week, and its official that i have an addiction.

Impending (Green/Purple)

I'm aware that it's only half way through September, but i keep seeing all these companies putting out sneak peaks for Halloween collections. I have no idea what i'm going to get you, but i'm defiantly saving soe money to get in on some of the Halloween action :3 its one of my favorite holidays as far as fun stuff goes. Are there any Halloween or Fall collections your anxiously awaiting?

Space Suit (Nails)

I have a pretty simple nail look today using a simple tape method and some different sized dotting tools. Its not my favorite but i was good enough to stay on for like three days, new record for me >.<

Olives (Green)

The brisk ice in the morning air makes me bitter. The over cast grey skies tear on my heart strings and it wretches me inside to feel my favorite season coming to an end. The sun, cold, white, and empty behind the clouds brings me no warmth when i drag myself to the car covered in a thick morning due. Going to work on a sunny eighty degree morning was bad enough, but the unwelcoming chill chasing me indoors puts my day on the wrong foot to start.

Again, i'm lagging on the postage. I blame the cold.

China Glaze "In the Lime Light"

I'm a sucker for neon colors, so when i saw China Glaze's "In the Lime Light" (Neon) i knew i had to have it. Unfortunately, neon colors all dry matte (that i know of) so i was kinda meh at first. But then i put a top coat over it and my day was made. This isn't really just a neon green, it has facets of beauty i have never before seen.

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics Swatches

The moment some of you have been waiting for! The swatches from the Dawn Eyes Cosmetics haul are here. I've been lagging on my swatching. I now have over 20 shadows from BFTE to do. >.< Anyways, back on topic. You saw a sneak peak from this company in the last DEC post and now i'm here to show you the beauty in the raw. I've been using these shadows a few weeks now and i'm happy with them. They do have some very unique colors. Some colors, such as Key Lime are a tad difficult to work with because it's so odd, but over all i have no complains about this company.

Sun (Yellow)

I love that blogging only requires me to touch a keyboard, because i'm waiting for my nails to dry. Why can't nail polish be instantly dry so i can just get on with my life and design?! Besides doing my nails, i've decided to be productive ans swatch all my Dawn Eyes shadows, which i will be putting up some time in the next few days. I'm excited to share those swatches because there are some preety fantastic colors. And after those get up, i'm moving on to my Beauty From the Earth haul! Lots of goodies in there :3 But untill i get those done here is a look using some Unique Pigments and a Dawn Eyes shadow

Wanna See My New Tattoo?!

Now a lot of people in this world play catch with their dad, or maybe learn to cook with their mom. Some people go on happy family vacations, sit down and eat dinner together at a table, or build something together. My family is a little off kilter from the traditional. My dad and i have one thing we love to do together, and that is go to concerts. Since i was 12 he's been taking me to rock show after rock show. I think i can honestly say i have one of the coolest dads in the world. Even after being run over by a water truck, in the hospital for over three months, and still kinda crippled, the first thing he wanted to do when he got home was go to a show...and get a tattoo. He mentioned to me one day that he was thinking about getting something. So i mentioned that i wanted to get something with him. I had been thinking about this for a long while and i knew when we should get. Social Distortion logos, naturally. We've seen Social D together probably about 5 or 6 times and those nights are some of my best memories with him. Infact we're going again in October.

So after about half a day of deliberation, we drove down to the tattoo parlor and got inked together.

China Glaze "Cha Cha Cha" mani (Nails)

Here's a semi-simple mani i did using one of my favorite CG polishes. And to be honest, i would have never got this color if it wasn't on sale. Got it for like $2.50! And the purple used in this look smells like grapes when its dry, no joke. I used a Born Pretty stamping plate for this look, but can't remember which one.....Keep reading to see what i did with this color

Cherish (Yellow/Red)

Hellllooo postage lag! I need to get my crap together. I went to go see Rancid last night (sickkkkk) in Pomona. Third time i've seen them and they never disappoint. I even got a drum stick this time ;D. So i'm a little sore from being crushed last night so excuse this sloppy post. Been to any good shows lately? Have any planned?

It's Pink (Pink)

I went to Subway for lunch today and it was the best decision i've made all week. Omg it was delicious. Any ways, trying to get my self together here and get some posts going. I still need to swatch my Dawn Eyes and BFTE new shadows. I've been super busy over the weekends when i usually do my swatching. How long does it usually take you to get swatches done? Do you slack off on your blog a lot?

Failed "Galaxy" (Nails)

I was shocked to see today that i had been out of scheduled posts for a day and a half then i felt horrible for leaving all you followers hanging. I don't even remember a day when i didn't have a post for a day. >.< I know it's not a huge deal but yea what ever. Well the reason i did miss a couple days is because life has been going non-stop lately. Over the weekend i was home for maybe a total of an hour. But here's some nails for you!

China Glaze "Flying Dragon"

The last time i went to Sally's this was a color i wanted, but wasn't in my budget. I knew it would be there next time i went, which was you know, like three days later. I was super excited about this color because it was purple and i automatically get excited about anything purple, AND it had glitter in it. Blue glitter. It was really difficult to photograph, but you'll get the idea.

Glitter Glutton (Blue)

Hay thar. Today i'm going to be showing you a look i did to go out clubbing with some of my best bitches in the world. It was my BFF's 18th birthday so we went to a gay club down in Hollywood called Tigerheat. I could not believe how many straight guys were there, i got hit on so much it was getting annoying, i actually hit a few guys because they can't take a hint. By the end of the night all the glitter came off my face, but i still had all my shadow in place. It ended up being one hell of a night.

Can i get a "hiphip" for new makeup and online sales? I'm having a ton of fun using all my new BFTE and Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. I can't wait to get the swatches done on both of those hauls. But before i swatch and share them all with you i'm giving a few of them a run on some of my daily looks.
