Some time last week while browsing the some of my favorite beaut blogs, and venturing onto some others, i saw along my way a gal mention a little company called Dawn Eyes Cosmetics.
Now, being me, of course i was excited when i saw this was another great little indie company chalk full of beautiful shadows. Dawn Eyes is a very small mineral make up company born out of the closing of another mineral makeup company. The owner invested in a bulk of raw ingredients from the closed company and so began her passion for creating mineral eye shadows.
I placed my order on the 22nd, and it was safely in my mail box on the 24th, I was super impressed with the turn around time. The owner, Dawn, was extremely helpful in placing my order. As you may or may not know, i will never place an order unless i can get my shadows in jars. I contacted Dawn in regard to getting some shadows to review. She offers special pricing for bloggers, but those prices are for samples in baggies. Dawn was nice enough to work with me and allow me to get my samples in jars, granted i just pay normal sample price ($1.00) and for shipping ($2.50). Over all, thus far my experience with Dawn Eyes Cosmetics has been amazing. I've yet to try my new shadows, but here is a quick sneak peak at my haul.
Normal Pricing for shadows are as follows
Sample size= (approx. 1/8tsp. in baggie) -$1.00
Full size= (5g sifter jar, 1.2-1.5g) -$6.00

My package arrived in a regular yellow bubbled mailer with an invoice with hand written notes on it, a business card, and my shadows wrapped in floral tissue paper.
Now for the good stuff. All my shadows were packaged into one plastic baggies, i ordered 10 but Dawn was kind enough to include two samples, IN JARS! <3 I love her for this.

So many pretty colors! I've been seeing more and more bloggers with Dawn Eyes. I may have to check them out!
