Maybe Mars (Orange/Red)

Yay matte! I like today's look. I like it lots. Mostly because i always love using Flamepoint and Love+. And for any of you out there doubting the extreme power of Sugarpill shadows...i will not explain why they are beyond amazing. You may have noticed lately in some of the photos that i have some dark roots showing...or just don't show my hair at all. Well yesterday i went to ge bleach it, and after sticking my head under the faucet in the bath tub to wash it all out...twice, getting water every where and having it run down all over my face, all of my makeup was still perfectly in place. Everything looked just the same. None of my shadows had smudged, and nothing was all ugly like i expected it to be :D

Oh, now wanna hear something gross? The lady who does my hair, a long time family friend and basically my second mother, had all her makeup brushes out on the bathroom counter where i was blowdrying my hair...I asked her.."When was the last time you washed your brushes? They looks awful" You know what she said back, "Oh, i've never washed my brushes!" So at this time i demanded she wash them. You know what she did? Turned on the sink and threw them all in the sink. Just piled 'em on it. To say the least i had to jump in and save the day. You would not believe the amount of makeup that came out of those brushes.
You may notice my cheeks are pink...That's Sugarpill's Dollypop...I took it off after i took these pictures because it looked horrid in white light
I started out with a NXY Milk base from lid to brow
Then with ARC's La Gateau i thoroughly covered my brow bone
I covered my lid, especially the inner corner with Sugarpill's Tako. I wanted to make sure the white on the inner corner was whiteee
With Sugarpill's Flamepoint i went to work on my over exaggerated crease area. This orange created my shape
With Love+ on the outter half of the crease i started to work in the red.
With the same red i lightly covered a little more then half my lid
Going in with ARC's Guillotine, i more densely covered my lid. I did not go all the way to the inner corner i kept a spot white
On top of Guillotine, i used BFTE's Isis. I only covered part of the red, not all of it.
On about two thirds of my lower lash line i went back with Love+
Then i put a thin line of Isis on top of Love+ on the lower lash line

I used some of the red already on my lid to kinda pink up the white on the inner corner
And then lots of mascara
Just because i was curious, i used a bit of Sugarpill's Dollypop on my cheeks..but then took it off.
And used a kinda bright red lipstick with this look.

  1. I am just in love with this look! You're very pretty, and I think this look just accentuates all your lovely features :) That is really gross about the brushes, though. Yuck :/
