China Glaze "Flying Dragon"

The last time i went to Sally's this was a color i wanted, but wasn't in my budget. I knew it would be there next time i went, which was you know, like three days later. I was super excited about this color because it was purple and i automatically get excited about anything purple, AND it had glitter in it. Blue glitter. It was really difficult to photograph, but you'll get the idea.

Perplexed by the name of such a stunning shade a dumbfounded look like no other came over my face as i pondered "Flying Dragon." What a peculiar choice for a name i thought, dragons aren't purple...are they. Well they certainly don't have blue glitter on them. The five year old inside me suddenly conjured a crayon drawing of an obese purple dragon with tiny wings struggling to fly through the air followed by a weak trail of blue sparkles. I gave this image a moment to flee my mind before i gave up trying to solve the enigma that is "Flying Dragon," and headed to the register.
Now, as you can see this color is not photo friendly. The true color of this shade is some where in between these two photos. It's not quite so dark, and yet not quite so pink. The blue doesn't show as much as i'd like it to, and i think some day in the future when i no longer care about this color, i'm going to unload a massive amount of glitter into it and make it into the most stunning thing you've ever laid eyes on.
See the tiny bit of blue sparkles?
Since this is a neon shade, it does dry quickly, and matte. I'm not a fan of matte finish polish. I like my nails ridiculously glossy.
Never mind the name, or the fact that it can't decide what color it wants to be in pictures, i'm still very happy with "Flying Dragon" and would recommend it to any purple lover or some one who wants a little something unique in their collection.
