Revlon Color Stay Liquid Liner Review

What? What? Makeup? That's not polish?! Madness! Well for you long time followers, you know that Kattatonic Fierceology used to be a makeup blog featuring reviews of drug store products, daily makeup looks, indie makeup swatches, and the occasional feature of a bottle of polish. Recently i've felt my love for makeup rekindled and picked up a few new things for my arsenal. Today i have a Revlon Color Stay liquid liner :)
Revlon Color Stay Liquid Liner in black, obviously.
The, brush? for this liner is not like a paint brush and is limited on flexibility. Its more of a felt tip pen type applicator, but it loads up on liner which i consider a plus so that i don't have to go back five times for more liner. The long cap makes this liner easy to hold and even for me, a novice eye liner applicator, i found this liquid liner easy to work with and simple to control. On the right is one stroke right out of the bottle not wiping off excess. It makes a thick line but the tip can be used for precision application since it's a felt tip applicator.
I don't know if i just have sensitive eyes or if this will be a problem for many. Although i love the formula of this liquid liner it did sting my eye lids a little a few seconds after application. This wasn't an urgent burning sensation, just a minute or so of discomfort.
The liner lasted me well through the night and i did not experience any smudging, movement, or bleeding. Over all i like this liner and i would recommend it to any one who is just starting out using a liquid liner. I usually don't love Revlon products, but so far this one has impressed me.
This liner delivers: Clean lines, easy control, opaque formula, long cap for easy application, long wear, no bleeding or smudging
This liner let me down: Mild irritation upon application, stubborn removal
This liner was worth: I got this liner at Target for under $8, i feel this product is worth the price for any one who needs a liquid liner or a back up for an old one. It's a quality product that i have seen little problems with.
