Antoinette’s Revolution "Louis"

If you're an avid reader of my blog, you know i love purple. So for me the color "Louis" was exciting all on it''s own due to the purple factor. And now that i've fallen in live with ARC and the way they make their colors, this pigment has become a favorite.
And as of 7am this morning i am headed up to Fresno with my grandpa to go see my dad in the hospital. I'll be back some time around Saturday and i'll probably have a post scheduled so it'll be like i was never even gone
ARC's Description:Louis is a beautiful violet, packed with aqua and violet glitter. Sure to make you as fabulous as the king!

My Description: This purple is beyond royalty. A deep violet with even more violet glitters in it, how could you ever ask for more. A bit darker from the colors i normally use, but this purple puts the passion in any look.

If you care to enlarge this picture, you'll be able to see the fabulosity of all the tiny glitter in this pigment. On the bottom of the jar you'll also see the more blue/aqua glitter contained in this color.
Just in case you were wondering, this color is NOT LIP SAFE
To swatch this color i used the following as bases
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk"
Revlon cream shadow from "Electric Pop" in Dark Blue

This color does seem to be a little limited in range, but who cares, i still love it. It you want a beautiful purple that isn't going to do some crazy every time you use a new base, then Louis is the one for you.
Over a plain white base, this color's most true beauty can show through. The glitter remains subtle, but just enough so that when the lite hits them they shine
Over a light pink base, the color doesn't shift much from what is was with the white. It does add a slightly softer tone to it, but it's very very slight

Over a dark blue cream base, the deepness of the color increases. However. Louis is a very stubborn color that doesn't like to change much, so if you can't see the difference, i won't make fun of you.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing this color. it is one of my growing faves, if you'd like to own this for yourself, you can purchase it here
