Acid Spots (Nails)

I was at Target the other day looking at some Milani stuff. Originally i was looking for their eye liners i keep hearing so much about, then i got reallly really distracted by the nail polish on the bottom row. I saw that bright green, and that purple glitter and just about dropped to the floor and screamed with over whelming joy. This is the look i did when i got home...which bubble the next morning....>.> i was angry because these we're super cute.

The flash really made this green look awful. Baby puke awful
For these nails i used Milani's "Green Glow", Revlon's "Fuchsia Fever", and Milani's "Purple Gleam"
I started out with three coats of "Fuchsia Fever"
After that was dry i used "Green Glow" to make little blobs for my spots
To finish off the design i used "Purple Gleam" to go around the green spots.
Covered it all with a clear coat.
The some thing peculiar happened
Do you see how they're all lumpy? I woke up and they we're like this, and i have no idea why.

  1. The lumpiness can happen when each layer hasn't had enough time to fully dry, so it will create air bubbles under the surface and make little lumps. This happens a lot when I do three coats of a drugstore brand polish. (I don't have this issue with Zoya, China Glaze, etc polishes) I just learned I have to be SUPER patient and let each layer of polish fully dry before I do this next.

  3. @Mandy: You know, i thought that might have been the problem. That pink polish is awful difficult, there's like 4 coats
