Its been a while since i've done a Color Feature, just because i haven't had a lot of time to do any swatches. I need to do a few today. i want to swatch all my Unknowns so that when i use them you all can get a better idea of what color they actually are. Today is another pair of ARC shadows,the yellows :D I hope you enjoy these because i really like giving special attention to individual shadows, brings out all the beauty. ARC's Description:Our bright and sunny golden yellow, le Dauphin is a very pigmented yellow/gold, and when applied lightly it has a soft golden shimmer to it. Applied heavily, it has almost a mustard tone to it. It's made to make you feel elated, like the Dauphin was just born.
VEGAN
My Description: Though i don't use this shade a lot it is very special. It's a wheat gold semi-reminiscent of McDonald's french fries. It is mostly matte but ha a tiny bit of shimmer in it, (which makes me think of fries)
If it was on your mind, this color is lip safe

Over White. This is the color in its pure state. You can see the mild hint of shimmer lurking behind the golden goodness of this color
Over Lime, and green shimmer base. The shimmer n the shadow is brought out a lot more by this base for a little extra sparkle
Over Black Bean. Can you believe this color?! What is that? Amazing, that's what that is
ARC's Description:Le Soleil is brighter (and a whole lot safer) than the sun! Put yourself in a sunny disposition with our bright yellow, with rays of yellow glitter.
VEGAN
My Description: This is a happy color. Such a bright and beautiful sunflower yellow. Le Soleil is a show stopper because its so intense and bold. With flecks of yellow glitter, you'd have to be crazy not to like this one.

OTHER COLOR FEATURES
Do her sample sizes come in baggies, or jars? I have been lemming after ARC for awhile but I do prefer jars. Maybe I will turn some of my loose samples into pressed samples and then make more room for jars...

ReplyDelete@Mandy: You can get samples in either baggies or jars. Jars are extra of course. When you're done picking out all your colors, there is a listing for "3g jars for your samples!" (http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Shop&op=listing&product_id=3441028)
