Unique Pigment's "Danja Zone" Collection

I don't remember how i came across Unique Pigments, but i'm so glad i did, because they just recently released the fantasmic "Danja Zone" collection. Though i'm not a fan of buying shadows in collections because they often include colors i don't want, i spend hour after hour gawking at every color in this collection. The little makeup monster inside me had decided that i NEEDED this collection. It was right. It arrived today, and i am ecstatic.

Company Description:Long awaited eye safe bright eyeshadows that are nearly neon in brightness!
This is for the entire 5 piece collection of Danja Zone in 5g jars with sifters -
Nuke 'em High - A nuclear explosion of bright green with lime glitter
Shock 'em Hard - A shockingly bright blue with electric sapphire glitter *Not Lip Safe*
Burn 'em Down - A fiery bright red ablaze with ruby glitter
Suite 'em Up - A hazardously brilliant yellow with lemon glitter
Blow 'em Down - An explosively intense orange with hot orange glitter
All ingredients used are 100% eye safe and approved to be used as eyeshadow. Each jar is labeled individually with its ingredients. 

What I Think: Being the neon lover that i am, i was very excited to see these colors. All f them have a unique quality that i have not yet obtained in a shadow yet. What i love most about this collection is the pure in your face color they deliver. Another selling point on this collection for me was the glitter contained in each color. I love me some glitter shadows, and these we're exactly what i had in mind

My order arrived with amazing swiftness! I placed my order on Monday the 13th and it got here on Thursday the 16th. I was contacted by the company the day after my order was placed to be informed that the mail lady neglected to pick up my package that day. The owner even scheduled a special pick up and said if that didn't work out she was going to chase them down personally. Now that is what i call customer service! It arrived in an ordinary yellow mailer all decked out in pink zebra tape, an exciting touch i think.

Inside was a bundle of bright green tissue paper. So far a win with me and the colors. I love exciting packaging!

My collection came in a little black drawstring tule bag

Also included were three business cards and a business card magnet. The magnet was kinda neat.

Now to the goodness.

This was something i had not seen before. All the shadows (5 from collection and 1 sample) were all shrink wrapped together. You know as opposed to individually. I kinda like this because i didn't have to unwrap each one.

Shock 'em Hard

Shock 'em Hard is a fantastic neon blue. I feel that it applied the smoothest out of all of them. The glitter in this color isn't as pronounced as in the other color but it doesn't need to be. The shocking blue is stunning all on it's own

Burn 'em Down

Burn 'em Down is an amazing ruby red with even more ruby glitter. The glitter in this bright red shine like precious gems in the light. Out of the five, this was the most difficult to get even coverage out of.

Blow 'em Down

Blow 'em Down was the color i was the least excited about just because i don't use my oranges much. But this explosive shadow may change that. This is kinda a traffic cone orange not for those looking to blend in. So far with my experience it can be toned down into a creamy orange, but who wants that?!

Suit 'em Up

Looking at Suit 'em Up is almost like staring into the sun. This lemon yellow is laced with green glitters and will make you melt. This is one of my favorites out of the whole collection.

Nuke 'em High

Nuke 'em High drew me in with its radioactive green color. It isn't soils green but a minty yellow green. once again a very unique color that i have not yet seen. Think of anything you've every seen glow and picture it in the day light. That it what Nuke 'em High looks like.

In addition to the collection i also received a free sample of "Glass Slipper"

Compared to the full sized jar, this sample is still fairly large

Glass Slipper is a very light, very soft blue. I see it as a powder blue with extra powder. Alone with the delicateness of the color, hints of silver sparkles are all through out this beautiful and delicate shadow.

Worth it?:For a neon lover like me this collection was worth it.Being $25 each shadow comes out to $5 which i think is an average fair price. All the shadows are very pigmented and smooth. I didn't have a lot of trouble achieving full coverage over a white base. Over all i was very satisfied with the product.

Company Over All: This was my first time ordering from Unique Pigments and i have enjoyed it very much. Though they mainly work off their facebook and don't have much in the Etsy shop, from my experience so far the collections are worth checking out. Prices are very fair and shipping is reasonable. I can't even complain about shipping because my order got here with the most professional promptness. The customer service is spectacular. I love that i was notified about my package not shipping on time and Zhen (owner) even gave me an option to pick my included sample. The only thing i would change about this company is the way they present their product for sale on line. I'd like to see Etsy listing for each color and be able to purchase individual full sized and sample jars. Besides that i have had an excellent experience with Unique Pigments and would currently recommend them to any one who asks.

Will I Buy It Again?:This is now a company i am keeping my eye on. They have a flare for bizarre colors and bizarre is most defiantly my thing. I really look forward to seeing their shadow collection grow, and would defiantly make another purchase in the future.
