Wet n' Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in "Nouveau Pink" (Review)

Next part from the Quest For candy Yum Yum is a recommendation i got from a few girls in the online makeup community. This is defiantly the super cheat alternative to CYY if you're really on a budget. It's not really up to my standards for the perfect dupe but it was worth a try.

In buying this lipstick, i learned that i NEVER want to shop for makeup at Walgreens ever again. Everything was sticky. Security treated me like a felon, and all the lipsticks seemed to be covered by an odd oily substance. But i had to brave it just to get this.

Company Description:Enriched with conditioning ingredients of Vitamins A & E and Aloe Vera for moist-looking lips.

What I Think: I really like this color. I liked it much better then "Light Berry Frost," Only because this was more pigmented. It basically has the same qualities as the other lipstick i purchased. It goes on smooth, no crazy smell, no bleeding or feathering, but it isn't long wear and has a tendency to smudge.

 Again, the Shade names are NOT clearly printed on the product itself. they are on the plastic wrap but not any where on the actual tube :/ This makes if difficult to find the shade you want at the store if you don't know the number

You get this much product for the price. It's more then some other brands like N.Y.C. so this is a plus.

But a minus for me is that these lipsticks DO NOT twist all the way down into the tube. I'm trying to use more of this so i can twist is all the way down, because i keep taking chunks off the side when i put the cap on.

Just like "Light Berry Frost" this color has vast building potential, but use must apply is in both directions of the lipstick will touch the side of the tube, another downside, unsteady packaging.

Another thing to watch out for. Smudging. I ran my finger across all the swatched and every single one smudged

 So as far as pinkyness, this is a good color compared to CYY, but the finish is a bit to glossy for me. Its still a fabulous bright pink and i love it bunches, but it had long wear issues.

Price: $0.69 at Walgreens (Normally $0.99)

Worth it?:For how inexpensive this is yes! Is a quality that is above its price, but defiantly not top shelf. I love this color in particular and for me, it's a kinda a must have.

Will I Buy It Again?: Probably. Since these are cheap i'll probably pick them up from time to time. They stay on for a while but not threw food or anything like that. You will have to reapply. there are many colors available making these lipstick perfect for trying out new things. I do like them better the the N.Y.C. $0.99 Lipwears because there aren't slimy. There are comfortable to wear, but come off easy. I hope they continue to make this shade because when i run out i'll probably want more
