Halloween Spooks (Nails)

Getting closer to Halloween, and seeing all the Halloween themed manis, of course i had to do my own! I was seeing a lot of especially adorable ghosts on the claws of my fellow Polishaholics. So when i got my new rhinestones in the mail i took the opportunity to make my own little ghosties. This is a step by step so you'll be able to see exactly just how these little spooks came back to life. Hope you enjoy :)

For this mani i used...
Teeny tiny green rhinestones
Dotting tools
Pure Ice "Super Star"
OPI "I Only Date Warewolves"
Nicole "Brilliant Idea"
Color Blue "Cold Metal"
Color Club "Rebel Spirit"

I began with two coats of Color Club "Rebel Spirit" this is a very peculiar color to me. It's black but also brown at the same time. I don't know how often i'm going to use this other then when i'm doing a very dark mani.

With my dotting tool i made blotchy tear drop esque shapes with Pure Ice "Super Star" These are going to be the start of my ghosts. Don't worry about arms quite yet.

Now, on each ghost i used two tiny green rhine stones for the eyes. Now that i know where my eyes are, i also took my dotting tool with more of my white to make tiny little arms to give me ghosts a little more personality. At this time you can also shape them more to your liking.

With a cut in half makeup sponge i used Nicole "Brilliant Idea" to sponge around my ghosts and on two thirds of my blank nails. I did not let the glitter over power or really touch the ghosts.

Color Club "Cold Metal" added some extra dimension. I used very little on the out side of the green spots, and again on the tips of my blank nails. As you can see, this can be a very messy process.

Look how freeking cute they are!!!!
