I saw these little pumpkins toward the start of October, and i regret not snatching up all of them. After seeing the girls on Polishaholics gush for days about the glitters and glow in the dark goodness, i finally drug myself back down to Rite-Aid to try and hopefully pick up a few. I left with five. Though i am happy with the ones i got, i was hoping to find more of the glitter ones, because i found out to late that there are some amazing glitters that came out of this little pumpkin collection. I've yet to try all of these, but i did do about three, and i'll show you what i have swatched here. Be on the look out for swatches of the remaining soon to come...hopefully.
Talking to others about these i kept telling myself, i don't need any glow in the dark polish. I'm just...not ready not.....sorry for going off track but my cat just ran off my bed when she her a dog bark making a very peculiar growling sound.....anyways.. in the end i left the store with three GITD polish pumpkins. The first one is blue. I've yet to try it yet, but i love the shade it is. GITD have a crazy quality that makes them kinda irresistible.
Second is a green glow in the dark. At first i was not going to get this because it just seemed like the traditional glow polish. Green and boring you know. I looked at it a bit closer, because i had come all the way there for pumpkins, and i was getting some pumpkins dangnabit. I'm glad i took a second look because this pumpkin also had some glitter in it. I've yet to try it, but it looks fun :)
Fourth, my pink pumpkin. I didn't realize till i got home that this one
seemed to have some polish missing from it, which kinda peeves me...but
not much i can do now. I did have to us a little over three coats to get this to cover. Butt it was a cheap polish, and it is a GITD which automatically makes the formula all weird. It's just something you have to put up with
I was kinda perplexed when i found out this glows orange. It is also black light sensitive. I went through a few black light mazes at Halloween Haunt, and it looked amazing. i was to distracted by my nails to be scared.
Another thing about these polished, a few of my brushed were kinda crooked....It bothers me. This is the orange glitter. I expected a round glitter, but when swatched i discovered that there were also the stringy glitters as well, which was a tad irritating because those don't always lay flat when applied.
Last but not least, probably my favorite, the silver pumpkin. This one
was thought to just be a silver glitter but it also have bigger black
glitter. This is this one as a glitzed up version of Wet N' Wild's
"Tangled in my Web" Two coat of this is better then one though. I don't
know, i'm weird about layering glitter for some reason, i don't like
doing it
Over a completely unrelated color, Essie's "Tart Deco" from left to right, Silver Pumpkin, Orange Pumpkin, Silver Pumpkin, Orange Pumpkin.
