Hard Candy "Powder Keg in Sinful and Inked" (Review)

Powder Keg - Loose Eye Shadows in Sinful and Inked
Up close swatches and product pictures after the jump.
Company Description: You’ll have a blast experimenting with the Hard Candy colors - choose from an array of electric, loose eyeshadow pigments. These powdery-fine, silky soft shadows deliver more intense color than pressed or cream eyeshadows. The loose pigment formula is made from pearlized powders. Try a little for a sheer wash of color or layer for dynamite hues. With everything from bold brights to pretty neutrals, there’s something for everyone. The coolest advantage over other brands’ loose pigments? No messy pots! The spill-proof tube uses a special internal funnel to keep pigment inside until you’re ready to use it. The wand features an ergonomic flaired handle and a built-in sponge tip applicator. Dip the sponge into the color to apply or tap out a little color and use your own brushes. However you apply, you’ll have a blast!
What I Think: I love this product. As you can see it's the only one that i actually have two of. These are similar to the Urban Decay loose shadows, but i don't own any of those so i can;t really compare. The applicator it kinda neat and you can also pour it out to use with a brush. The color pay off it great and the shadow itself has such a pleasant texture.

 More package win
The bottom of each
Top of each. More cuteness.

When you remove the cap(easily comes off) it reveals an oval shaped plug handle. They help to seal off the product, so it the cap does fall off your shadow and makeup bag are safe because these do take a little effort to pull out. Not to difficult, but it is secure. the only problem i have with this design is that when i go to but the wand back in i get a cloud of shadow that kinda explodes. Nothing to major but i hate seeing product fly away like that.
The applicators are a small pointed sponge. These are more what similar to those in the Split Personality eye shadow duos but smaller and more pointed. I love the tips for going along lash lines, making dots, and even covering the whole lid. Since the shadow it very pigmented it goes on easy and smooth.
There is some amount of fall out when using these in excess. I personally use them as accent and minor colors in looks, but if your going to start with this as a lid color be prepared for  some clean up
Swatched with out  a base they already give off a very beautiful color. Sinful on the left and Inked on the right.
they are not matte colors and do have shimmer. It's not glittery but it does have a sparkle.
This is a bad picture of Sinful. Sinful is a purple toned pink. My camera made it appear way more pink then it actually is in real life. I feel it leans more towards a light purple if anything.
Inked is a light baby blue that can be built up for more intensity. When applied over a blue or white base the color really pops. This color also has simmer in it.

Price: $6.00 at Walmart

Worth it?: Its a great value for the price. You get a lot of quality product for $6.00. the colors i have are very pigmented and go on wonderfully smooth. It can be used with the packaged applicator or poured out to be used with your own brushes.

Will I Buy It Again?: Yes. I plan to go out and find the other colors because i love this product. There's a wide array of colors available that i'm dying to get my hands on.
