Hard Candy "Powder Keg in Kryptonite" (Review)

The next part from the Walmart Mini Haul is the Hard Candy Powder Keg in Kryptonite . As you may or may not know, i love these powder kegs. Also on this blog you can find my review and swatches of the "Sinful" and "Inked" Powder Kegs

Company Description: You’ll have a blast experimenting with the Hard Candy colors - choose from an array of electric, loose eyeshadow pigments. These powdery-fine, silky soft shadows deliver more intense color than pressed or cream eyeshadows. The loose pigment formula is made from pearlized powders. Try a little for a sheer wash of color or layer for dynamite hues. With everything from bold brights to pretty neutrals, there’s something for everyone. The coolest advantage over other brands’ loose pigments? No messy pots! The spill-proof tube uses a special internal funnel to keep pigment inside until you’re ready to use it. The wand features an ergonomic flaired handle and a built-in sponge tip applicator. Dip the sponge into the color to apply or tap out a little color and use your own brushes. However you apply, you’ll have a blast!
What I Think: I love this product. These are similar to the Urban Decay loose shadows, but i don't own any of those so i can't really compare. The applicator is kinda neat but i prefer to pour it out to use with a brush. The color pay off it great and the shadow itself has such a pleasant super shimmer.

Its a tiny triangle shaped sponge tip applicator. I use it some times but not often.

I really like this color. If you don;t like a tooonnnn of shimmer then it's probably not going to get along with you. As you can see there's a HUGE difference when applied over a base. Also, it's probably best to use a base because it's a very fine loose powder and the base give it something to sick to.

You can see a little bit of the gold reflect in this color on the bottom of the swatch

Price: $6.00 at Walmart

Worth it?: Its a great value for the price. You get a lot of quality product for $6.00. the colors i have are very pigmented and go on wonderfully smooth. It can be used with the packaged applicator or poured out to be used with your own brushes.

Will I Buy It Again?: Yes. I plan to go out and find the other colors because i love this product. There's a wide array of colors available that i'm dying to get my hands on.
