Recently i received some samples for entering the So Appealing "Name That Trio Contest." Even though i did not win, every one who entered was given a consolation prize of two full jars of So Appealing Cosmetics
or five samples, our choice. You'll be seeing those samples and swatches very soon, just took pictures for the review today. they do have some very unique and beautiful colors over there, so i;d say it's worth checking out. Again, i'd like to thank So Appealing Cosmetics for their generosity, i've only used them once so far, but i'm really enjoying the products. Now just to start this off, this look is a little odd. You'll see kinda an uncovered creasy area mid lid. But i ened up kinda doing this on purpose. I really liked the weird transparent effect that happened. It was a happy accident. This had everything to do with the base i was using, not that shadows them selves.
I began with NXY Jumbo Eye Pencil in Lime all over my lid. Not the best idea. Had some major creasing at the end of the day. That NEVER happened with Milk.
My lids were a little puffy this morning, so excuse me if my eyes look fat.
I began the shadowing with Sugarpill's Lumi all over my brow bone
With So Appealing's Peacock i went and made my shape starting in my crease.
Something very very peculiar happens when Peacock meets Lumi...it gets darker. It turned like navy blue almost
With So Appealing's Dragonfly Wings, i covered most of my lid. Okay. the outter half of my lid. This is when i got that transparent spot on the mid lid area
While i have out my Dragonfly Wings, i also used it on two thirds of my lover lash line
With BFTE's Autumn, i did the rest of my lower lash line and the inner corner
Because i flet my brow bone wasn't cool enough, i used Hard Candy's Powder Keg in "Inked" on the outter brow bone
Mid lid looks so weird hu?!
And the Lumi/Peacock thing, any one, can you explain this amazing phenomenon?
Because i was going light today i left my water line alone
Instead i just piled on the mascara
I realllly liked my lips today. Granted, they don't go to well with this look, they were still delicious.

That's weird, I have lime and it's one of my favorites! That sucks! Are you sure you didn't apply too much? Because they will crease then. Who knows though because some of the other colors crease on me no matter how little I use. Anyway, I really like this color combo and love how you did the lower lashline!
ReplyDeleteI think i might have used it wrong. I know it sounds stupid, but yea. I used my Strawberry Milk today and it worked perfectly. Defiantly going to give it another go, i think i just used it differently then what i'm used to because it's new and some times i'm like a special kid when i get excited. I don't remember exactly what i did, but i'm thinking i probably just basically drew all over my eye with it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened with Peacock & Lumi but it's freakin' gorgeous!! Neat effect...and yeah the lips look amazing ;)
