Cover Girl Eye Enhancers in "Purple Pop" (Review)

I got this shadow along with my  Products for Prom, because i needed a purple i could annihilate and not care about, and i wasn't willing to sacrifice my Poison Plum by Sugarpill. I didn't get this shadow expecting anything amazing, and truthfull it didn't really deliver amazing. I swatched it today on my arm and it's already worn off. I usualy have swatches on my arm for quite a while, not this one.

Be proud of me, i've started to remember to take pictures of all my products before i use them

Company Description:Simple, single shades with a formula that lasts for hours. Mix and match them the way you want to create your own combos with matte, pearly, or sparkly shades! They blend easily to let the natural beauty of your eyes come through.

What I Think: As of now, i am really failing to see why this line of single shadows was ever launched...From my experience so far, they kinda suck. I can't speak for all the colors, but Purple Pop has no "pop" at all. I think this product maybe more for someone who just wants one color, or who excessively wears just one single eye shadow every day. This isn't really something i'd recommended for your makeup arsenal. It's super whatevers.

One real beef i have with this product that the full name of the shade is only on this sticker that you must destroy to get inside. The name is abbreviated on the back. It's a pet peeve of mine. I like my products clearly labeled.
You can see on the right, under the number of the barcode the abbreviated name. >.> Don't like
Each of these single shadows comes with a double ended sponge tip applicator, nothing special. One end is point and the other is curved. I guess that's kinda cool. But it's still a sponge tip....and i'm still not fond of it.
 No flash.
Top is over no base
Bottom over a white base.
Not really to impressive, not a must have color, and i had to really pack it on just to get this much to show up. It's a sweet dreamy purple, perfect for what i wore to prom, but not really impressed at all.
Just for good measure. With flash.
Top is over no base
Bottom over a white base.

Price: $3.14 at Target

Worth it?:Meh, it's only $3.14, but meh. It's worth it if you neeed that color or your using it like i was just to use a bunch and not really care. It's not that great of a product and i don't really care for it. I'll probably end up giving it away. You have to pile on a lot of shadow just to get a decent color, so if your going for reallly really subtle color, then this would be good for you. But for a pigment junkie like me this is a total bust.

Will I Buy It Again?:No. I do not plan on buying one of these again. ever. Unless i'm going to do another half face/ full face look and i need an abundance of cheap shadow i don't care about. I don't recommend this product.
