This was another shadow i got in the Products for Prom Haul specifically for my Prom Look. I just needed a light purple i could destroy for this look, i ended up using a lot of this a i kinda like it as a serious shadow as well. But i do't like it that much, and you'll see why in the swatches.
This is one thing that i feel is really unnecessary on eye shadows. Very large, very pronounced, very difficult to work around textures. This seemed so stupid to me when i was trying to rub down all the ridges.
Company Description: Because Revlon refused to have a functioning website, i was unable to find a company description
What I Think: After getting to know this shadow a bit i found some very unique qualities in it. It's powder like texture allows for easy pick up but difficult application. One thing i really like about this shadow is that it actually has preety large pieces of glitter in it. I'm not talking huge, but large for being in an eyeshadow.
For some reason i like the fact that these shadows are like perfectly square. they're a good size i think, not to big, not to small.
They do come with a spone tip applicator but i forgot to take a picture of it. Just wasn't that exciting
As you can see in this photo, i've demolished the ridges in it.
On the left is over a white base
Right no base
This shadow is verryyy sheer. This is what i wanted for what i got it for, but as a regular shadow item, this is a bad quality for me. As of now i haven't been able to find any real practical use for such a sheer quality.
Left:White base
Right:No Base
It's a very very light purple. But it is very shiny sparkly, and shimmery. That's why i like it.
Price: $3.98 at Walmart
Worth it?:Meh. It's a unique shadow and unique formula, but it could be unique in a bad way. I have a problem with the pigmentation and how it spreads out so much and doesn't like to stay together to create one good color spot. It's very powdery and just not super high quality. I think i'd skip on this one if i were you.
Will I Buy It Again?:Probably not. There are some other colors in the line, but it will be a happy day when i've finally finished off this shadow.
