Wet n' Wild sure is creative with their product names hu? I picked these up at Walgreens last weekend for really no reason other then the fact that they we're only $0.69! I got two of their lipsticks too. So this review isn't aprt of a haul or anything. Just a filler untill i decide if i'm going to to Quest for Candy Yum Yum, or Products for Prom next. VOTE IN THE POLL ON THE SIDE BAR! ---> Help me decide!
Oh, and back on the Walgreen's thing. I am never going to their makeup section ever ever again.
Everything was either sticky or covered in this weird oily substance. I had like three people that worked there hovering over me making sure i wasn't stealing anything. And it took forever to check out because every one there pays in cash and has to dig threw their purses to find their coupons -__- It was terrible. And the guy at the register was a total creeper.
Pencils are so awkward to get pictures of.

What I Think: Freeking $0.69?! You kidding me? These could be crap and i would not care at all. But they're not. I love the white one, preety creamy and goes on easy. I don't know about long range wear because i use it as a base for my lash line, but i love it so far. And it's gigantic, i'll never have to buy white again! The silver one, shorter, but equally amazing. For so cheap i didn't expect these to be this good at all. Now don't get me wrong, don't throw out all your liners and stock up on these. These are great, but great in the way that you feel you need about 6 more colors of eyeliner but don't have $60 to spend.
This pencil is huge...not huge..super long. I kinda don't like it because it doesn't fit in well with my other liners. But whatever.
Another beef i had with these, was that after you fight the plasic off, all that lettering is almost gone
Not gonna lie, pretty smooth and creamy
Just a typical pencil liner. Haven't had to sharpen it yet.
And not tested on Animals!
You have to do a little bit of coloring if you want it all even. the bottom line is going over it twice
It goes on smooth but it makes you do some work to get full coverage

Silver!
This pencil is shorter, but it's shiny, and a little better quality
Plus, it doesn't look like a giant among my other liners
The cap on mine keeps falling off. Total turn off
Otherwise i quite like this pencil. It's smooth, goes on easy, but not really long wear. I only use it for a liner on my lash line because it's not really up to any big important tasks. It tends to fade.
It is a very pretty silver that goes on easy. I love it for simple stuff. But it likes to fade when used for to much.
Price: $0.69 at Walgreen's Normally $0.99
Worth it?:Super cheap! Give it a shot. I stayed away from these for a long while because i thought they would just rip a hole in my eye if i tried to use them. Surprisingly, the formula on both is fairly smooth and creamy. It's soooo worth the price. If you want an array of colors on the lam, go for these. THESE DON'T STAY ON THE WATERLINE. Just in case you were wondering

Nice, I've been wanting to try the white to see if it works for waterline. I have the hardest time trying to get pencil or eyeliner of any kind on my waterline. If it even goes on at all, it gets washed away in about 10 seconds lol.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of these pencils and NONE OF THE LIDS STAY ON. At all. It sucks because I keep them in little travel bags and the lids come off and write on everything. Lame. I hate the design so much lol.
@Emily: Just for you i just tried these on my water line. the answer is no. The white goes on really sheer on my water line and i sat there and squinted and smiled for about a minute and it was already starting to fade.
