Sea Side Sunset (Pink/Blue)

As the sun shined down here in lovely SoCal the temperature reached a perfect 86 degrees, and the coast was calling. Sitting down at my vanity with the image of the beach in my head; sun, sand, and the cool splash of the water against my skin, i though to myself; today would be a prefect day for a simple look, maybe a light orange or yellow with a winged liner. Well, this is my simple beach daytime winged liner look....i have a problem. As soon  i started to pull out pigments i found myself in way to deep to stop now. MORE SHIMMER! I screamed in my head as i packed on ounces of Lumi to my brow bone, and slathered my eye with Starling...

...When i was finally satisfied i look a step back and look at my self in the mirror, hot pink lip stick and all. I trotted out into the kitchen toting along my neon pink SGTC bag. Mom, i'm going to the beach. She stopped me, looked at my face..."Like that? Your going to melt." Meh, i said, and walked out the door.

And for the record, she was wrong. All my make up stayed on well into the night. Looked exactly the same at 9PM as it did when i left the house.

If you want your shadows to last like mine, you best begin with a stick white base, like a NXY jumbo eye pencil

With a pink/purple color like MAC's Stars and Rocket cover most of your lid. Be sure to completely cover the inner half

On the outter half of the lid, smother the area in Sugarpill's Starling. Create a rounded shape

With Sugarpill's Lumi, cover the remaining area all the way to your brow

With a high shimmer powder blue, like Hard Candy's Powder Keg in Inked cover the outter brow bone

Line your lower lash line with a purple eye liner similar in color to Stars and Rockets

On the outter half of the lower lash line take a tib-bit of BFTE's Paradise and use it there

Use a black mascara

And follow that  mascara with a blue one like Hard Candy's Electric Blue

Now take the same purple liner you used on your lower lash line, and line your lips

Use a brigh pink lipstick like Cover Girl's Spellbound

Now your done! Go to the beach
